This version has a number of improvements, the most notable being support for multiple session windows. For more details on this support, see our article in the October, 1989 issue of 73 Magazine.
Additional changes were made with respect to Icons, and temporary files. Color Icons have been included for use with System 7 when it is released by Apple. If you use SunDesk, you can copy the color Icons using ResEdit into SunDesk. Temporary files now have their own Icons, and are common with BM/Mac Icons, so that they will appear correctly when either application is running or updating temp files.

Release Notes for BM/Mac Version (2.2)

This is a brand new application program that replaces the original BM written by Bdale Garbe and ported to the Macintosh. Documentation for this program has not been done in time for this realease. This project was taken on by Robert Taylor KA6NAN, and he has done an excellent job for a first pass at writing a Macintosh Application. There are a number of things that will be changed in later releases of this program, but since it is so much better than the old one, we are including it now with this release of Net for the Macintosh. If you find any major problems with BM/Mac 2.2, please contact me below with all the details you can provide, and I will forward them to Rob for investigation, etc.
